About Alberta Curriculum Analysis

This site is intended to provide diverse, non-partisan, research-informed scholarly and expert advice on the development of Alberta’s K-12 curriculum, across all subject areas. The scholarly considerations, analysis, and critique are offered with altruistic intent. The goal is to elevate engagement about robust forms of 21st-century curriculum that will inspire today’s children and future generations of contributing citizens.

This site is for parents, teachers, school administrators, school board trustees, journalists, curriculum consultants and developers, educational policy analysts, and other interested Albertans.

We acknowledge that many of the contributors and visitors to this site, as well as the children and families this curriculum will serve, reside on the traditional territories of many diverse First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Peoples, who have lived and continue to thrive on and care for these lands. We do this work in the spirit of reconciliation, in the hope that it will contribute, in some small way, to creating a more just world.
